How to Make your own Squat Stands

Making your own squat stands doesn't have to be difficult.
If you're not willing to spend a few hundred on new squat stands then this could be for you.

These lovely looking Homemade squat stands were put together by Strongman Jonny Wignall.

Equipment needed:
Buckets of some description (these were made using old protein powder tubs), to set the uprights in.

Wood thick enough and long enough, for yourself - make sure you do your homework and make them the right size (don't forget to try and recycle from a wood skip if possible) 4 inch square would be a good size.

Sand and cement

Something to cut notches in the top of the wood for the bar to sit in.
The rest should be self explanatory.
