DIY Kettlebell Handle - Seen in Tim Ferris' Fourhour Body Book

Be The First To Comment
Tim Ferris (of the Four Hour Work Week and Four Hour Body) is getting some press at the moment about the homemade kettlebell handle.

Tim didn't invent it, but he has written about it in his new Four Hour Body Book.

I believe I first saw it some years ago in the form of the Hungarian Core blaster when Dan John, talked about its use in training for throwing events.

The T-handle, homemade kettlebell, hungarian core blaster has been called many things and is a really useful tool to have. What's more it can be made for next to nothing.

UK readers will find this build more difficult as the threaded pipe is not readily available here. (unless someone can point us in the right direction)

Check out this great looking easy to make homemade kettlebell with full step by step instruction from Instructables.com

I think this homemade kettlebell would require some form of tape on the handle if you were to save your hands from being shredded up, but apart from that looks very functional!

If you haven't heard of Instructables.com before it's really worth checking out as there is a wealth of homemade equipment of all types from health to household stuff!
